In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top theme park apps on iOS in South Africa showed varied trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Disneyland® Paris experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 73 downloads at the beginning of April and peaking at approximately 197 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, growing from 125 to 297 over the quarter.

My Disney Experience showed fluctuating weekly downloads, with a peak of 106 downloads in April and then stabilizing around the 60s towards the end of the quarter. Active users saw a high of 292 in late April before settling at 251 by the end of June. Revenue peaked at $193 in late April with some variability throughout the quarter.

Universal Studios Japan had a spike in downloads mid-April with 112 downloads, but numbers fell to single digits in May before recovering to 90 by the end of June. Active users also saw a rise, returning to 160 from a low of 72 earlier in the quarter.

Universal Orlando Resort maintained stable download numbers, with a slight increase from 29 to 50 in mid-April, followed by a drop and then a gradual recovery to 24 in June. Active users decreased from 107 in mid-April to 68 by the end of June.

Hong Kong Disneyland downloads fluctuated, starting with 35 and ending with 21. Active users decreased over the quarter from 59 to 35.
